All shots are allowed. Since the announcement of the vote organized by the City of Paris for the ban or not of self-service scooters in the capital, operators and the City of Paris are engaged in a fierce fight.

A few days before the vote, on Sunday, April 2, operators launched a new salvo. Indeed, on the social network TikTok, several important influencers have embarked on the campaign to encourage young people to vote in favor of maintaining scooters in "free floating".

Forgotten "Paid partnership" mentions

Several large accounts, including Lou Pernaut (1.4 million subscribers), Ethan Berrebi (1.9 million) and Rayalix (589,000 subscribers) have displayed the slogan #sauvetatrott and openly promote these machines.

However, as noted by journalist Vincent Manilève, some of these videos and promotions did not include the mention "paid partnership" at their publication, as required by law in the case of sponsored posts. However, the journalist specifies on Twitter that this mention was added "several hours later" on the missing.

There's something happening on TikTok: influencers are speaking out to encourage Parisians to go against the ban on electric scooters on April 2. Of course, you see what I'm getting at. pic.twitter.com/nO5UVOzmgJ

According to BFM, which contacted the operators, the company Lime recognizes its role and that of the two other operators present in the capital, Dott and Tier, in this campaign intended to influence the vote: "We are in an effort to inform about the existence of the vote," explains the operator to our colleagues, adding that he wants a citizen vote "as representative as possible".

In the middle of examining the draft law on influencers

Because the visibility of this referendum is one of the subjects of discord between these operators and the City of Paris. Only on the basis of a physical vote and in the borough halls next Sunday, Tier, Dott and Lime regretted, recently to 20 Minutes, that the City of Paris "invisibilizes the vote" to ensure a victory of the against, acclaimed by David Belliard, deputy of Anne Hidalgo in charge of mobility.

The same David Belliard who should not fail to take over the operators on this campaign outside the rules, he who had already attacked them on a "vote buying".

An information that directly echoes another news since a bill to regulate the advertising of influences is examined this week in the National Assembly.
