Pentagon: US is very worried about Xi Jining's trip to Russia

According to him, the US administration is closely monitoring whether China has begun military supplies to Russia.

"Xi's trip to Putin and the fact that he spent two days there, I think, sends a very alarming signal, a signal of support. We do not see material assistance from them to Russia now, but we are following it very, very closely. If they choose this path, I think it will be very alarming for the international community, but, of course, the demonstration of support for his presence there, I think, is very alarming, "RIA Novosti quoted Austin as saying.

John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the White House National Security Council, previously complained that China did not condemn Russia's special operation and did not stop buying Russian oil and Russian energy.

Earlier, in a joint statement, the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China called responsible dialogue the best way to sustainably resolve the crisis in Ukraine.
