The airport made a loss of 32 million

The disputed airport reported a loss of just over SEK 32 million for 2022, a result on par with the last five years.

The airport had about 20,000 passengers last year. In 2019, before the corona pandemic, the same figure was 52,000.

In it, Karlstad is proposed to be given what is called public service obligations and thereby also increases the state support to the airport, which has been in deficit of millions for several years. Karlstad is also one of 30 emergency airports in the country.
