After Friday's tensions at the Bordeaux train station, and a demonstration on Saturday that was marked by a fire in the middle of rue Sainte-Catherine, what will happen to the protest movement against the pension reform in Bordeaux and Gironde? Several unions have indicated that they will continue the protests and blockades.

From Monday, a demonstration is planned at noon in front of the prefecture of Gironde in Bordeaux. Earlier in the morning, a picket line is to be set up in front of the Régaz agency in Bordeaux. On the student side, a general assembly is scheduled at 9:30 am in Bordeaux Montaigne, to decide whether or not to block it.

A general assembly is also planned at Sciences Po Bordeaux, which had been blocked on Friday. Several pickets will also be organized in front of Bordeaux high schools (Montesquieu, Elie Faure ...) where the specialty tests of the baccalaureate must start.

The CGT union is also still organizing blockades at the Blayais EDF power plant in Braud-et-Saint-Louis, which should continue in the coming days. A major mobilization is also announced for Thursday at the national level, with a demonstration scheduled for 12 noon in Bordeaux.
