The earth is shaking again in Turkey. 4.6 magnitude earthquake hits Kahramanmarash
An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale occurred on Saturday morning in the Goksun district of Kahramanmaraş province in southern Turkey.
This came in a statement issued by the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), on Saturday, according to the Turkish Anadolu Agency.
The statement pointed out that the epicenter of the earthquake in the Joxson area, was at a depth of 7 kilometers from the surface of the earth.
On the sixth of February, two violent earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 struck southern Turkey and northern Syria, and the center of the Turkish earthquake was the state of Kahramanmaraş, followed by thousands of violent aftershocks, killing tens of thousands of people and leaving massive material destruction.
