Medvedev mocks Putin's arrest decision: no need to clarify the location of the document

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev commented that there is no need to clarify the use of the ICC document by issuing an arrest warrant against President Vladimir Putin, attaching the toilet paper icon.

Medvedev wrote on his English-language Twitter account: "The ICC has issued an arrest warrant against Vladimir Putin. There is no need to clarify where this document will be used."

The Pre-Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Court, whose jurisdiction the Russian Federation does not recognize, issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and Presidential Commissioner for the Rights of the Child Maria Lvova Belova.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed that the decision of the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin does not make sense for Russia.

Zakharova wrote on her Telegram account: "ICC decisions are meaningless for our country, including from a legal point of view."
