Letter from the Head of State to the Prime Minister of Georgia

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a written message to Irakli Gariba Shvili, Prime Minister of the Republic of Georgia, regarding the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them.

The message was delivered by Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi to Georgian Foreign Minister Ilya Darshiashvili, during his official visit to the capital Tbilisi at the head of the UAE delegation, which includes a number of senior officials in federal and local government agencies, representatives of private sector companies and the business community in the country.

During the meeting, Al Zeyoudi and the Georgian Foreign Minister discussed bilateral relations between the UAE and Georgia and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in all fields, and exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest. It is noteworthy that the UAE-Georgia relations are witnessing increasing momentum, especially with the announcement of the successful completion of the talks of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between them, which will launch a new era of trade and investment partnership and provide many promising opportunities for the business communities in both countries in many sectors.
