It announced it on its website and social networks. The ski resort of Valberg (Alpes-Maritimes) will put its ski lifts on hold at the end of this weekend, at least a week ahead of schedule. "Our teams will have given everything to keep the slopes open as long as possible, but spring weather conditions force us to close our ski area on Sunday, March 19," explained the officials.

For the occasion, access to the last tracks still accessible will be free Saturday and Sunday, they specify. This will concern the sectors of Eguilles and Garibeuil in this area, open since December 17, and located in the municipalities of Guillaumes and Péone.

The resort also announced that the slopes of La Croix and Tête du Sapet will be reserved for toboggan users until Sunday evening.
