"The political system in Ukraine has been defeated because the Supreme Soviet as the highest legislative body is not functioning publicly ... There was a usurpation of power by the top, power was taken away from the people. The judicial branch and the Constitutional Court have been defeated," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
In addition, Kiev actually went bankrupt and lost 60% of the economic complex, he said.
"The situation is becoming uncontrollable," Soskin said.
According to the American economist Richard Wolff, Ukraine is already the most losing party to the conflict – its economy is falling apart, and large former Ukrainian territories are now controlled by Russia.
