Russian President Vladimir Putin flew on a device simulating a Mi-171A2 helicopter during a visit to the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant in southeastern Siberia.
The footage shows how the Russian president sits at the helm of command, puts on earphones and then "lifts" a device that simulates a helicopter flight in the air, reports Russia Today.
The Mi-171A2 multi-purpose helicopter is the latest heavy-class model developed on the basis of the Mi-8/17 helicopter which is one of the most widely used aircraft in the world.
