"Humanitarian incident" in Saudi Arabia. Jazan floods kill 4 children in front of their father's eyes (video)

Sabya Governorate, in the southern Saudi Arabian region of Jizan, witnessed a tragic incident, after floods swept away 4 children in front of their father's eyes, causing the death of two of them and the loss of the other two children.

On Monday, the children's father was driving his car through a valley called "Abu Hatara" to reach his village "Mishlaha" of Jizan, then the vehicle sank with the family inside, and the father was able to survive while the floods swept away his sons, according to "Al-Ekhbariya channel".

This caused the death of a boy and a girl whose bodies were recovered, and the search for the two missing girls continues, according to the Saudi newspaper "Sabq".

Activists circulated a video clip monitoring the incident, in which torrential rains appeared flooding the valley, during the passage of the car before sinking with the family inside, which was published by the newspaper "Al-Marsad" Saudi Arabia.

This was not the first incident in the village, as the suffering of the people has been going on for more than 15 years, during which they demand the provision of a "safe road" so that they can reach their homes in the village when the floods flow.

Citizens said that they have no other way but to take the valley and with the rains, they are detained for hours, and said that "there are patients, who cannot get out, such as the citizen who died while watching the ambulance on the other bank unable to reach him."

The correspondent of Al-Ekhbariya channel spoke about the suffering of the villagers from the "strange and strange design" of the road, and said that "it is repeated in many valleys in the Jazan region."
