It is noted that earlier the media reported that the proposals sent by the Ministry of Finance to the Cabinet at the end of February contain an initiative to issue “patriotic” bonds.
The press service of the ministry said that the Ministry of Finance did not offer and is not preparing to issue such bonds.
It is clarified that this issue was previously discussed at the level of the idea, but the details were not worked out.
The Ministry of Finance added that at present there is a wide range of investment opportunities for Russians, additional tools are not needed.
