“I think that the government has the necessary competencies to send this unused equipment, thus the government will make a decision, and we will send MiGs to Ukraine,” Heger said in an interview with the SME newspaper.

He noted that he did not object to the opposition's intention to study the air base where the fighters are located.

Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that Warsaw plans to transfer its MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine in the next four to six weeks.
