This high level of results allows the media to "finish repaying the loan taken out as part of the buyout of Mediapart securities", thus freeing it from any debt at the end of 2022, specified Cécile Sourd.

In the future, Mediapart will be able to devote its profits to "building up reserves and investing", she added.

To celebrate its 15th anniversary, the investigative media has announced the organization of 15 meetings with the public in France and Brussels.

Mediapart will also launch a vast communication campaign to underline "the usefulness and the impact" of the revelations made during its fifteen years of existence under the slogan: "Without us, you would not have known".

Among the editorial novelties, the Mediapart video division intends to "co-produce more video surveys with the editorial staff", which will be available only to its subscribers.
