The Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Center said that the UAE ranked first globally in 30 global competitiveness indicators related to women, for the years 2022 and 2023, according to reports issued by four of the largest international organizations and institutions concerned with global competitiveness.

The center explained to "Emirates Today" that the UAE ranked first in the world in indicators related to parliament for the year 2022, led by the index of women in parliament according to the Global Gender Gap Report, issued by the World Economic Forum, and the index of the percentage of females in parliament according to the Global Competitiveness Yearbook, issued by the International Institute for Management Development, and the index of the percentage of seats held by women in national parliaments, according to the Sustainable Development Goals Index report issued by the Bertelsmann Foundation, and the index of the percentage of seats in parliament Occupied by women according to the UNDP Gender Equality Index report.

According to the center, the UAE ranked first globally in the index of enabling women to sign a legal contract in the same way as men, and the index of registering a legal project in the same way as men.
