Because many municipalities in southern Sweden said no to wind power installations, the social democratic government set up an investigation to give the municipalities compensation when wind power plants are built.

The investigation will soon be presented and there will be sharp proposals for compensation for nearby residents, landowners and municipalities.

- We are in the final phase of the investigation now and everyone should feel that they have had their say, says investigator Ulrika Liljeberg (C), who does not want to set up a filmed interview.

Or tell us more about what the proposals will look like.

Representatives of the reindeer industry: "A bribery investigation"

Marita Stinnerbom from Dikanäs is both a center party member and party leader for the Guovssonásti party in the Sami Parliament.

She has been involved in the investigation as an expert and representative of the reindeer industry.

She calls the investigation "a bribery investigation".

- Yes of course.

After all, it aims to give money to the municipalities for not using their municipal veto, she says.

Unlike her Swedish party, Marita Stinnerbom is critical of wind power development in the reindeer husbandry area.

- It disturbs the pastures all year round, she says.

On March 31, the results of the investigation will be presented.

Marita Stinnerbom, who sat in on the new incentive investigation as a representative of the reindeer industry, calls it a bribery investigation.
