The Court of the King of Morocco responds to the Brotherhood's fallacies on Israel: blackmail

The Moroccan Royal Court issued a statement today responding to what it said were "some irresponsible transgressions and dangerous fallacies" issued by the Muslim Brotherhood's Justice and Development Party (PJD) regarding the relationship between Rabat and Tel Aviv, linking them to developments in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The NAO statement said that it affirms that Morocco's position on the Palestinian issue is irreversible and is one of the foreign policy priorities of the king, chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, who placed it at the rank of the issue of the Kingdom's territorial integrity. It is a firm principled position of Morocco, not subject to political bidding or narrow electoral campaigns.

He also stressed that the Kingdom's international relations cannot be the subject of blackmail from anyone and for any consideration, especially in this complex international circumstance. Hence, exploiting the kingdom's foreign policy for a domestic partisan agenda sets a dangerous and unacceptable precedent.

He explained that the resumption of relations between Morocco and Israel took place in known circumstances and in a context that everyone knew.
