The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine proposed to increase the country's defense budget by $14 billion

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal stated this on his Telegram channel.

“More than 518 billion hryvnia (more than $14 billion) we propose to allocate additionally to the security and defense sector,” he wrote.

Shmyhal also proposed to increase the reserve fund by 19 billion hryvnias ($520 million).

Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak announced the plans of the Ukrainian authorities to change the state budget of Ukraine for 2023, increasing military spending by more than $13.5 billion.
