Al-Bashir gets out of prison to participate in his brother's funeral

A video documented the moment ousted Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir left his family home in the eastern Khartoum suburb of Kafouri after receiving condolences over the death of his brother Mohammed.

The video showed Omar al-Bashir leaving the house, amid cheering and enlargement from the audience.

Bashir was discharged from hospital and went to the family home yesterday afternoon after a June juvenile court judge gave him permission. According to "Sudan Today".

Omar al-Bashir was at his family home for about two hours, during which he received condolences for the death of his brother, then left the house to return to his prison in Alia Military Hospital.
