A report published by the Russian newspaper "Nezavisimaya" was keen to shed light on the differences between China and the United States, and its relationship to the Ukraine war, and confirmed that President Xi Jinping was clear in his call to improve the strategic capabilities of the state and build a strong army.

The Chinese president - the newspaper adds - was "extraordinarily frank" when he recently accused the United States of working to "encircle" China, while US Director of National Intelligence Avril Haynes indicated that Beijing is working to weaken the power and influence of the United States, and it seeks to achieve this through Deepening its partnership with Russia.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has called on multiple occasions to enhance the country's military capabilities and combat readiness, stressing that the army should devote all its energy and do all its work for its combat readiness, enhance its ability to fight and win, and effectively fulfill its tasks in the new era.

He also called on the armed forces to protect the country's sovereignty and security, implement the party's thought on strengthening the army in the new era, follow the military strategy of the new era, and adhere to combat effectiveness as the sole criterion, according to the agency.

Danger

According to Nezavisimaya, the annual US assessment of threats to US security pointed to China as the main threat to the country.

And she cited Heinz's statement, in which she said that China - in addition to its cooperation with Russia - is increasingly challenging the United States in the economic, technological, political and military fields, so it remains at the top of the concerns of US intelligence agencies.

The Russian newspaper said that this intelligence focus on China was confirmed when much information was published about Beijing's relations with Moscow, which caused uproar in recent days.

Western warning

At the end of last month, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated that his country has information that China is considering supplying weapons to Russia, something that Western powers have repeatedly warned about in recent times.

The Wall Street Journal quoted US officials as saying that President Joe Biden's administration is considering publishing intelligence it believes reveals China's intention to send weapons to support the Russian war in Ukraine.

German Chancellor Olaf Schultz also warned of the consequences of supplying weapons to Russia, and said, "I told the representatives of China that it is unacceptable to send weapons to Russia."

The same warning was repeated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, who also confirmed the monitoring of "signs that China is studying and may plan to send weapons to Russia."

China has rejected Western accusations and said the United States is not in a position to make demands on it.

Follow the Ukraine war

Nezavisimaya said that the Chinese army is analyzing the course of the fighting in Ukraine in a realistic and practical way, studying the impact of American weapons and technology, and trying to come up with conclusions that it may benefit from in the event of a war with the United States in Taiwan.

The newspaper confirmed that hundreds of specialists from universities affiliated with the People's Liberation Army were involved in these researches and studies, along with military think tanks and experts in military industries.

Among the things that China focused on - explains Nezavisimaya - is the role of the communications network that was established by the founder of "SpaceX" Elon Musk and benefited the Ukrainian forces, despite the Russian missile attacks destroying the Ukrainian energy and communication networks.

The Chinese are likely to use this system in any future war in Central Asia.
