“Hundreds of citizens came out to protest ... in Sofia demanding the complete neutrality of Bulgaria in the military conflict in Ukraine,” the BTA agency reports.

The demonstrators came up with slogans: "Bulgaria is a zone of peace - we don't shoot at brothers!", "No Bulgarian men in the slaughterhouse," and so on.

Earlier it was reported that Atanas Shtefanov, a Bulgarian politician running for deputies from the Mir party, tore off the Ukrainian flag from the facade of the city hall of the capital of Bulgaria.

Presidents of Bulgaria and Hungary Rumen Radev and Katalin Novak said that the solution to the conflict in Ukraine cannot be achieved by increasing the supply of weapons.
