The US state of California has been hit by major floods over the weekend. As a result of the heavy rain, a state of emergency has been declared in parts of California.
In some places, bridges and roads have been destroyed by the water masses and more rain is expected in the future.
In Pajaro, south of San Francisco, large parts of the city are under water after the levee of a dam burst.
