What started as a sausage and bread festival in Stallarholmen has developed ten years later into a round through the county.

This year over 30 food artisans from Sörmland's food cluster participated and all offered different varieties of sausages.

Sausage maker Lasse Dahlén in Stallarholmen has been involved since the beginning.

- The festival became too big for us, so now it has become a round instead, he says.

At the same time that Dahlén is cooking sausages and tending the grill, it is crowded on the farm where there is both a bakery, a meat shop and other businesses.

The combination of good food and glorious weather has made the event a real folk festival.

Busy all day

For Martina Schagerlund, who runs Lindholm's farm outside Eskisltuna, it is a premiere in this context.

Despite that, a steady stream of visitors has swung into the yard to grab a bite to eat next to the grill.

- We have been busy since 10 o'clock this morning.

It's been great fun and I think it's important that we get to showcase our businesses, she says.
