“We will not agree to the subordination of the legal system to the government,” protest organizers said.

It is noted that across the country there was a record number of protesters.

Thus, about 50 thousand people came to the rally in Haifa, about 9 thousand in Raanan, and 3.5 thousand in Kiryat Ono. 

Earlier in Israel, more than 80 thousand people came out to rally against judicial reform.

Israeli police reportedly detained 21 people during the protests.
