The oldest facts date back almost twenty years. The manager of an equestrian center in Brive-la-Gaillarde has been indicted and placed in provisional detention for rape and sexual assault on a minor under 15 years old, announced Thursday the prosecutor's office.

The 39-year-old man was arrested Tuesday, after the complaints of seven women for facts of a sexual nature committed between 2004 and 2018, "at the time when they were members of the club or were doing training," said prosecutor Emilie Abrantes in a statement.

He denies the facts

The respondent, "unknown to the judicial services", disputed the facts while in police custody. He was charged with "rape of a minor under the age of 15", "sexual assault of a minor under the age of 15 by a person in authority", "sexual assault by a person abusing the authority that confers on him or her duties" and "sexual harassment", and placed in pre-trial detention.
