Mohammed bin Rashid, President of Poland discuss ways to develop bilateral cooperation

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received on Wednesday Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed the Polish President and the accompanying delegation at the beginning of the meeting, which took place at His Highness Palace in Zabeel, where they reviewed the overall bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation ties between the two countries and improve the level of coordination and exchange of experiences in many vital sectors that serve the development directions of both sides, especially in the fields of food security, renewable energy, technology, space, agriculture, transport and other sectors.

The two sides also reviewed the requirements for developing economic and investment cooperation relations, and upgrading this cooperation to new levels, especially in terms of increasing the volume of trade and tourism exchange, in addition to preparing the way to encourage the private sector in the two countries to strengthen cooperation and monitor more investment opportunities in light of the various attractions enjoyed by the UAE and the Republic of Poland.

The meeting also discussed the most prominent developments on the regional and international arenas, and a number of topics of common interest.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline Group, His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and Her Excellency Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation.
