Tensions within the Democratic Party have been escalating since a slew of breakaway votes on Lee's arrest motion.

Chin Myung-gye raised his voice that everyone should rally, and Bi Myung-gye pointed out that as long as Lee Jae-myung remains in office, it is difficult to separate the party from the judicial risk.

Lawmaker Ahn Min-suk, who is pro-Myung, appeared on the radio today (6th) and said, "There were an unimaginable number of breakaway votes, but the people's power was united and the MDP was divided."

Lawmaker Ahn said, "We are in a war without gunfire to protect the representative of the Democratic Party or not, so shouldn't we stop shooting inside and unite together?"

He emphasized, "As President Yoon Seok-yeol decides to detain Chairman Lee Jae-myung, he will be divided into pro-name vs. screaming voices, and if there is a domestic quarrel, it will be ruined."

Supreme Council member Jang Kyong-tae also appeared on the radio, saying, "It seems that we became more cautious during the arrest motion, saying that we were 'too harsh' with each other. I think it's a healing process," he said, adding, "Nevertheless, we are fully prepared to come together. I've already gotten vaccinated."

On the other hand, Assemblyman Lee Sang-min, who is a screamer, said on the radio, "The primary cause of the MDP's black clouds is Representative Lee Jae-myung's judicial suspicions," adding, "We need to separate them, but it is not easy to do so while maintaining the position of party leader."

"It is desirable for the party and for this representative to step back," Lee said.

Lawmaker Kim Jong-min also said on the radio, "If I am elected (as party leader), I have a responsibility to show leadership that will overcome the concerns and attacks of the bulletproof and fandom parties," adding, "However, since that is not possible, there may be an argument that I should step down as party leader."

Congressman Kim only said, "It is a matter for the leadership and Representative Yi Jae-myung to be responsible for and judge, not a matter that will be decided by a few people asking them to step down."

Even if it is not until he resigns, he must come up with measures to rectify the internal affairs.

It was also argued that the party should be reformed through personnel renewal, such as replacing the secretary-general, who plays a key role in the nomination process.

Park Ji-hyun, former chairman of the Emergency Preparedness Committee, held a press conference at the National Assembly this morning with youth party members and said, "Representative Lee Jae-myung only shows a selfish appearance of pushing the party into crisis for the sake of bulletproof. The only way to restore trust is through sacrifice."

Former Chairman Park said, "I am not asking for his resignation," adding, "It is important whether the party reforms. The Secretary-General, the Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee, the Spokesperson, etc., must be completely replaced and moved forward with a new look."

Park also said that if the motion to arrest Lee comes back to the National Assembly in the future, he should be subjected to a substantive review of the warrant instead of rejecting it.

Former Chairman Park's press conference was attended by Councillor Lee Won-wook, who helped book the venue.

Congressman Lee was also present at today's press conference.
