The sixth edition of the National Service Recruitment Fair 2023 kicks off today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), and will last three days, organized by the Ministry of Defense represented by the National Service and Reserve Authority, with the aim of securing the future of recruits professionally and educationally after completing the requirements of the National Service Program.

The exhibition provides job opportunities for national service recruits who have completed the requirements of the national service training program, and contributes to facilitating recruitment procedures by the participating entities.

The website of the exhibition stated that it is a distinguished opportunity for companies and institutions to enhance their presence by attracting qualified national cadres, as it is a platform that attracts more than 12,10 UAE nationals, including career experts and new graduates, and all attendees are either graduates of national service and ready to join the workforce or undergo training and will graduate soon and prepare to pursue their careers, and the exhibition also provides a database that includes the CVs of more than <>,<> graduates and students (from national service). , and a platform through which participating entities can enhance their presence and build their brand among job seekers.

The exhibition provides a platform for local and international institutions from the private and public sectors, which aims to open channels of communication between recruits and graduates of national and reserve service in the armed forces and the entities participating in the exhibition to find job opportunities for them and qualify them, as well as provide the opportunity for those who wish to continue their studies.

More than 40 institutions from various sectors, including finance, business, aviation, government and semi-government, oil and gas, engineering, construction and others, will participate in the sixth edition, an increase of 100% over the participants of the last edition of the exhibition, where the participating entities will showcase many vacancies for graduates of recruits who have the responsibility, discipline, skills and high values that were instilled in them while performing national service.

The exhibition is one of the initiatives of the National Service and Reserve Authority, which is concerned with providing job opportunities for recruits, supporting the Emiratisation file and qualifying national cadres to ensure their involvement in the labor market, within easy and simplified procedures upon completion of the national service program, and emphasizing giving priority to recruits in selection and appointment.

Among the initiatives that provide national service employees with the skills and tools necessary to develop their professional and practical path and enhance their readiness for the future, the National Service and Reserve Authority and Minister of State for Government Development and the Future, Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, launched the "Hamma" initiative, which was dedicated to female recruits joining the national service, as it focuses on enhancing the readiness of female national service recruits for the future, through four main groups of future skills, including digital skills, creative skills, professional skills, and soft skills. Through it, in more than 50 specialized trainings and workshops.

The Authority's interest in these initiatives comes from the belief in the importance of employing national cadres, providing them with job opportunities, and opening channels of communication between national and reserve service recruits and the entities participating in the exhibition from the public and private sectors to find job opportunities for them, qualify and care for them, coinciding with the great interest given by the wise leadership to its children, and providing them with the best opportunities to move them up in the ladder of jobs dedicated to serving the country and engaging in all economic, commercial and educational fields.

The exhibition will continue until next Wednesday due to the interest and response it receives from national service recruits who are looking for job opportunities to start building their careers and achieving their ambitions, and the event will also witness visits by dignitaries and officials from the military and civil sectors to see the progress of work, and to ensure the availability of all facilities and capabilities for recruits, and help them find jobs.
