The agency announced this on its Telegram channel.
“Shoigu, as part of his work at the headquarters of the joint group of Russian troops (forces), heard the Deputy Ministers of Defense of the Russian Federation on the organization of continuous provision of troops with weapons, military equipment and ammunition,” the statement says.
The minister also talked to the servicemen and presented them with state awards.
Earlier, Shoigu, during the inspection of the Vostok group of troops, presented state awards to military personnel.
He presented state awards: the Order of Courage, the insignia "St. George's Cross" and the medal "For Courage".
