On March 3, the press conference of the First Session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee was held.
According to Guo Weimin, spokesman for the conference, the first session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee will open at the Great Hall of the People at 3:00 p.m. on March 4 and close on the afternoon of March 11. The session will last for seven and a half days.
The main agenda of the conference is: listen to and review the work report of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee and the report on the proposal work; attend the first meeting of the 14th National People's Congress, listen to and discuss the government work report and other relevant reports; review and approve the constitution of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Resolutions and reports such as amendments, political resolutions of the first session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee; election of the chairman, vice-chairman, secretary-general and standing members of the 14th CPPCC National Committee.
During the conference, there will be an opening meeting, a closing meeting, two conference speeches, and 8 group meetings.
In addition to the press conference on the 3rd, the conference will also hold a press conference and three "committee channel" interview activities.
