The Russian Foreign Ministry called on members of the UN Human Rights Council to be impartial in their assessments

This is stated in the comments of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

“This kind of one-sidedness and selectivity of individual special procedures of the HRC does not honor them and only discredits them,” the text says.

The Russian Foreign Ministry called on experts from the UN to carry out their activities in a depoliticized manner and adhere to impartiality and objectivity.

Earlier, the executive secretary of the Russian Commission for UNESCO, Grigory Ordzhonikidze, said that the whole story related to the inclusion of "in need of protection" borscht in the UNESCO List is anecdotal.
