The number of crimes involving weapons has almost doubled in Russia

This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

It is noted that the number of detected crimes related to the illegal circulation of weapons in January of this year amounted to 1.6 thousand.

“Also, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs records an increase in the number of deaths as a result of crimes,” the statement says.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, said that more than 250 billion rubles were compensated to the injured citizens and the state as compensation for damage from crimes last year.

It was also reported that one of the developers of the Sputnik V vaccine was killed in Moscow.
