Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez expressed hope for reaching an EU agreement on arms purchases to Kyiv

This, according to RIA Novosti, the Spanish Prime Minister said during a joint conference with the head of the government of Finland Sanna Marin.

He clarified that we are talking about the purchase of ammunition and artillery.

According to Sanchez, the joint purchase of weapons will speed up the process of supplying weapons to Ukraine.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently facing a shortage of artillery, ammunition, military aircraft and tanks.
