Russian Embassy: Britain created the Salisbury incident to prepare for a confrontation with Russia

According to the diplomatic mission, this provocation in 2018 could still look like a single incident.

“Now we understand that official London was not interested in searching for the truth,” the report says.

The embassy added that over the years the British authorities have not established the circumstances of the incident, in addition, they refuse the cooperation offered by Russia.

“Obviously, the events of 2018 were just a “trial balloon” in a systematic information and psychological campaign aimed at demonizing Russia,” the embassy said.

Earlier in Salisbury, Skripal's house was sold.

Also, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that they would continue to seek answers from the UK and Germany on the incidents with Navalny and the Skripals.

Last fall, the Russian Embassy demanded that the British Foreign Office provide information about the Skripals.
