The fishmonger is selling fish and people are waiting for the bus.

Everything works as it should in Ukrainian Kupyansk and the residents live their lives according to the usual routine.

This despite the fact that there are often battles between Russian and Ukrainian forces who are at the front as close as 10 kilometers away, says SVT's correspondent Bengt Norborg.

- It is strange with these small towns near a front that moves.

People are still waiting for the bus as usual, even though the pressure is increasing and Kupjansk may become a new Bachhmut.

"Not planning to move"

It is not something that scares the residents.

- Where are we going then?

This is our home, we don't intend to move anywhere else.

We were born and raised here, says Nataliya, one of the older residents.
