2023 is the first year to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

What are your concerns and expectations for this year's National Two Sessions?

  On the eve of the National Two Sessions, the Social Survey Center of China Youth Daily and the questionnaire website (wenjuan.com) conducted a survey on the youth expectations of the National Two Sessions entitled "The Two Sessions are coming, which issues are you most concerned about?" A total of 2,201 people participated.

According to the survey, 90.6% of the respondents indicated that they would participate in the discussions on the topics of the two sessions, and education was the most anticipated topic of the two sessions.

  The average age of the respondents to this survey was 29.1 years old.

Men accounted for 37.9% and women accounted for 62.1%.

First-tier cities accounted for 31.2%, second-tier cities accounted for 35.9%, third- and fourth-tier cities accounted for 22.0%, counties or towns accounted for 7.7%, and rural areas accounted for 3.1%.

1.8% had a junior high school education or below, 7.2% had a high school/vocational high school/medium technical education, 19.9% ​​had a junior college/high vocational education, 64.2% had a bachelor’s degree, 6.2% had a master’s degree, and 0.7% had a doctor’s degree.

44.8% were married with children, 14.7% were married without children, and 39.3% were unmarried.

Problems provide ideas and methods."

  Xu Ping, a girl from Shanghai, is an international student majoring in law. She has been looking for a job in Shanghai after returning home after graduation.

Most of the employers she interviewed asked about her marriage and childbearing status, which made Xu Ping feel that women still face serious discrimination in employment.

"Women's employment discrimination is a hot topic in the two sessions every year. I hope to see proposals to strengthen the protection of women's labor rights and interests this year."

  Liu Yin pays more attention to the hot searches on Weibo. "In the past few days, there have been heated discussions on Weibo about the topics of the two sessions that are highly concerned by young people. I will express my views on topics that interest me."

  "My parents and I are very concerned about the two sessions. Sometimes whoever receives a pop-up window on a news client about a motion proposal on their mobile phone can arouse discussions among family members. It is quite meaningful for a family of three to collide with each other and express their opinions." Xu Ping said, When submitting resumes and checking information online recently, I will deliberately learn about the hot topics of the two sessions of the day, and I will forward them to my family and classmates if I feel touched.

  According to the survey, 90.6% of the respondents indicated that they would participate in the discussion of the two sessions.

Among them, 36.7% of the respondents will communicate with people around them, 31.3% of the respondents will participate in online messages or topic discussions, and 22.6% of the respondents will participate both online and offline.

She also mentioned that the graduation season is coming soon, and she will soon face the problem of renting a house.

  "I hope that the recruitment of civil servants and public institutions can break the 35-year-old limit. At present, some places have relaxed the recruitment age to 40. If it can be extended, it will have a good demonstration effect and drive other companies to no longer recruit. There is a '35-year-old threshold'." The 38-year-old Tan Funing hopes that the representatives of the two sessions will speak out for breaking the employment age threshold.

  Employment and entrepreneurship (53.6%) and housing (52.9%) are the topics that rank second and third in the two sessions.

  Wang Zhinian from Hebei suffers from thymoma, and has underlying diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure. He often has to go to the hospital for treatment.

He is very concerned about medical topics, "I am concerned about whether the registration is good, whether the doctor's skills are good, and which medicines can be reported."

He introduced that from February 10 this year, Hebei has canceled the filing procedures for insured persons to go to Beijing and Tianjin to seek medical treatment in other places, and they can directly seek medical treatment and pay directly with social security cards or medical insurance electronic certificates.

"Seeing a doctor is a big deal, which is a great boon for the common people! I look forward to the country doing better in the medical field."

  In this survey, 47.8% of the respondents paid attention to the topics of the National Two Sessions in the medical field.

  Wang Jia, the mother of two children, usually attaches great importance to the protection of infectious diseases. She said that her family still pays attention to wearing masks, washing hands and disinfecting, and ventilating more.

"This year's two sessions, I pay special attention to the construction of the country's public health and disease prevention and control system, and I also care about environmental protection. The air quality has improved visible to the naked eye in the past two years. There are more blue sky and white clouds, and I can breathe fresh air outdoors. The children can let loose and play to their heart's content. I hope that the intensity and measures of air governance will not decrease and the effectiveness will be maintained."

  "Women will face many challenges in childbearing, such as career development, postpartum physical and psychological recovery, etc." Yin Xia, a mother in Suzhou, Anhui Province, is very concerned about the issue of maternity security. "The country has allowed three children, but women of childbearing age need it very much Multi-party support from the state, society and family.” Yin Xia is also concerned about issues such as childcare services and the construction of inclusive kindergartens.

  Liu Yin believes that the mental health of teenagers is also a topic worthy of attention. "I hope that some representatives will pay attention to the mental health of teenagers and help them develop a healthy and balanced lifestyle."
