The US Treasury has added a number of petrochemical companies and 20 ships to the sanctions list on Iran

This is reported by TASS with reference to the statement of the department.

Restrictions were imposed against the Bushehr Petrochemical Company, the petrochemical company Shiraz Petrochemical, the Chinese shipping companies, Global Marine Ship Management and Shanghai Xuanrun Shipping Company Limited, the Vietnamese oil and gas company Golden Lotus Oil Gas and Real Estate Joint Stock Company, and Swedish Management from United Arab Emirates.

The black list includes two dozen tankers for the transportation of petrochemical products, dry cargo ships under the flags of Vietnam, China, Panama, etc.

Earlier, UN experts said that the legality of US sanctions against Iran is questionable from the point of view of international law.
