Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu posted on his Twitter account a picture of him with his wife Sarah, who was consoling her, after she returned after being trapped in a beauty salon for 3 hours.

Netanyahu wrote to his wife that he was happy that she had returned home safely and unharmed.

He added that chaos, which could cost lives, must stop.

On Wednesday evening, Israeli protesters surrounded Netanyahu's wife inside a beauty salon in Tel Aviv.

The police managed to pull Sarah out of the crowd, amidst cheers that "the country is burning and Sarah is doing her hair."

She saw Ra'yyati Ha'ahoba, Shmakh Sheshazaret Habitah Beshelom and Lala Paga'.

Netanyahu accused the protesters at the time of crossing the red lines, saying, "They are harassing and threatening my wife now in Tel Aviv."

He added - in a tweet - "I call on Lapid (opposition leader and former prime minister) to stop it immediately and condemn this unprecedented heinous act."

On Wednesday, the Israeli police arrested 39 demonstrators who participated in protests in many cities, especially Tel Aviv, in protest of legislation pushed by the government that would limit the power of the judiciary.

The Netanyahu government insists on adopting draft laws that would limit the power of the judiciary in favor of the legislative and executive branches, which the opposition considers a "coup against democracy."

For about two months, mass demonstrations organized by the opposition have been taking place in Israel to pressure the government to retract these amendments.
