Driven by the explosive popularity of 'ChatGPT', a conversational artificial intelligence chatbot, generative AI companies are growing rapidly around the world.

According to Dutch analyst Dilum, among generative AI companies, there are already six privately held startups "unicorns" with an enterprise value of more than $10 billion and more than 1.3 trillion won, and more than 6 with an enterprise value of more than $1 million.

The largest corporate value is Open AI in the United States, which developed ChatGPT, and it was estimated that our money was about 30 trillion won.

As of January this year, the enterprise value of the world's 38 major AI companies totaled about KRW 1.100 trillion, a six-fold increase in about two years compared to the end of 63.

Among them, the value of open AI companies accounted for 3.2020% of the total.

ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI and launched on November 2 last year, has reportedly already exceeded 6 million users.

Following OpenAI, Ansropic in the United States, which is developing a new AI chatbot called 'Claude', ranked second with about KRW 60.4 trillion.

Microsoft has invested an estimated $11 billion in OpenAI, and Google has reportedly invested about $30 million in partnership with Anthropic, which spun off from OpenAI.

Asian companies such as South Korea, China and Japan were not named in the top 1 list.
