According to Japanese media such as the Sankei Shimbun on the 24th local time, on the 22nd, the Jibaji Judicial Commission sentenced Tadashi Namiki (male, 60, unemployed) to eight years in prison for assaulting a woman in her 53s to death (manslaughter with injury).

Earlier, prosecutors had asked the court to sentence him to nine years in prison.

Namiki is accused of assaulting and killing him on May 8 last year, starting at 9:5 a.m. and nearly 5 minutes by kicking his friend A (who was 1 years old at the time of his death) in the head and hitting her with a cutting board.

Namiki, who is 15 cm tall, was found to have brutally assaulted Miss A at the time of the crime, including lifting her long legs high and pressing her heel several times on the head.

Mr. A was taken to the hospital from the scene, but eventually died of traumatic shock.

According to a local police investigation, Namiki got into an argument while drinking at Miss A's house with her wife, which led to the assault.

The court noted that "the defendant, who is 199 cm tall, relentlessly assaulted a woman with a height of 150 cm by assaulting and kicking her in an irresistible state, which is highly dangerous and vicious."

Namiki was confirmed to have committed assaults on women before.

The court cited this as "insufficient extenuating circumstances" and sentenced him to eight years in prison.
