a day before the plenary session report on the request for
consent to arrest, MDP Representative Lee Jae-myung volunteered to hold a press conference.

One hour and five minutes, including a question-and-answer session, he refuted the allegations contained in the arrest warrant.

[Lee Jae-myung/MDP representative: 'Arrest warrant for Lee Jae-myung without Lee Jae-myung'. There are almost no Lee Jae-myung in the subject. I was just told that Lee Jae-myung said this to A....]

He said that he was making black white by relying on relevant statements that were reversed without evidence, and that this is what the Yoon Seok-yeol regime wants to do in the end.

[Democratic Rep. Lee: You want to show him waiting in a detention center, or Lee Jae-myung in handcuffs.]

He made it clear that he has no plans to give up the privilege of non-arrest. [Democratic Rep. Lee: If it really becomes a lawless place where robbers and thugs are rampant, of course there should be a fence and the gate should be closed.

]

He also drew a line at the resignation of the president after the rejection proposed by some in the screaming circles.

[Representative Lee Jae-myung/Democratic Party: Well, there are many people in the party and political world who have different ideas. If you only have a single thought, that's not a normal society.]

Attorney General Han Dong-hoon, who appeared before the National Assembly's Judiciary Committee, said that if there was no evidence, as Lee claimed, no judge would issue a warrant.

[Han Dong-hoon/Minister of Justice: You can go and talk about that in front of a judge, and I think the public will wonder why you want to hide behind privilege when it is a good opportunity.]

He criticized the People's Power as nothing more than a bulletproof show and a public opinion battle for excuses.
