La Sicilia, located in Ghent, Belgium, could be an Italian restaurant among many. With one exception: it's not just wine that waiters bring to the table in glasses.

As spotted by HuffPost, the restaurant is all the rage on social networks after the publication of a video showing a wine glass filled... pasta and sauce. We see the waiter grabbing the foot and pouring the pasta into the plate. He then goes on to drop the Parmesan cheese on the dish. A way of presenting pasta that divides Internet users.

Good publicity to take

On TikTok, the video already has more than 16 million views. And if some find this presentation clever, others cry scandal. Mixed opinions that do not bother the owners of the restaurant, quite the contrary. Because despite some negative comments, this video allows the restaurant to enjoy free advertising.

This rather peculiar idea comes from another video, seen by the owner of the restaurant. "I thought, why don't I add my own twist? I thought it was a silly idea but a good publicity for us, "he told Sud Info on February 14. But the manager swears that this way of serving a little strange, does not influence the quality of the dish, which he describes as "delicious".
