Why this book?

  • Because it is a very surprising novel, in which the heroine will lead us into her situations and original and touching encounters. Cecilia had everything to be happy. A lawyer's job, a husband, a beautiful situation. But when she divorces, she feels the need to send everything waltzing. She then decided to settle in the house inherited from her grandparents. A dilapidated building but which promises to be rather pleasant and cozy after some renovations.
  • Because Cecilia decides to install guest rooms there, a way like any other to break her loneliness. But she intends to establish some rules so that everything goes as smoothly as possible. The meetings, among the people who help her to renovate the house or with the tenants of the premises, will change Cecilia. The stories of each one mingle with each other, the events of the past resurface, and we realize that all bring their stone to the building to untie a story full of mysteries and discoveries.
  • Because it is a choral novel that feels good, a solar and optimistic story. The chapters are not numbered, but quote in title one of the rules of life of the pension. Rules not always easy to respect, as all the characters of the novel will prove. The author's writing is full of freshness and sweetness, with a nice note of humor that makes you smile.
