Emirates Search and Rescue begins training Syria Civil Defense on advanced technical equipment

The UAE Search and Rescue Team in Syria has started training members of the Syrian Civil Defence on the advanced technical equipment dedicated to search and rescue provided by the UAE to the Syrian Civil Defence under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and used in the operations of the "Gentleman Knight 2".

Lt. Col. Hamad Mohammed Al Kaabi, commander of the UAE Search and Rescue Team in Syria, said: "We are racing against time to qualify the Syrian Civil Defence personnel through an intensive training course on the mechanism of using these advanced technical devices and equipment so that they are ready to deal with any future emergencies related to earthquakes and search and rescue operations during them."
