South Korean overseas emergency responders take turns getting off an Air Force transport plane.

This is the first team of 18 emergency troops who headed to Turkiye on the 7th.

It may be nice to step on the land of my homeland in about 118 days, but my face is not bright.

[Won Do-yeon/Overseas Emergency Relief Leader: Prior to the report, I would like to express my condolences and deepest condolences to the bereaved families of Turkiye who lost their family and friends.]

The first emergency team searched and rescued the quake as electricity and water were cut off, extreme cold and unstable security conditions continued.

Crew members underwent abrasions and even rescue dogs, but eight survivors were rescued in the Antakya district of Hatay.

[Ahn Han Star/Overseas Emergency Responders: I still haven't forgotten the sadness when I put a crying little boy alive in my father's arms on the first day, and I put a little boy who was touched and motionless in his mother's arms.]

At the airport, Ambassador Türkiye shook hands with each member of the crew and expressed his gratitude repeatedly.

[Sali Murat Tamer/Ambassador to Korea: I went to greet my brothers. The Korean crew saved so many lives. We are so grateful to the Korean crew.]

The second emergency team, which arrived in Turkiye yesterday in rotation with the first team, is providing support centered on health care activities for the victims.

We will continue to help by identifying the needs for relief and reconstruction of the victims and in close consultation with the Turkiye authorities.

[Sali Murat Tamer/Ambassador to Korea: I hope that the second team of the emergency team will also put safety first. We hope that they will be careful and work safely and return safely.]
