His electronic bracelet did not prevent him from engaging in illicit activities. A 27-year-old man was tried Tuesday before the criminal court of Rennes for drug trafficking, reports Ouest-France. On 10 February, while under house arrest under electronic monitoring after a previous conviction, the individual was arrested with a joint in his hand during a traffic stop.

At his home, the police had discovered all the paraphernalia of the trafficker and seized cannabis, weed, heroin, cocaine, ecstasy pills and MDMA. The court sentenced him to eighteen months' imprisonment, nine of which were suspended on probation for two years. He was imprisoned at the end of the trial.
