With technology controlling our world and the digital world dominating our world, we must stand with ourselves from time to time and calculate the cost and return of subconscious involvement in the digital world, which has become an isolation room that isolates us from the people closest to us, even when members of the same family are together in the same place. Everyone quickly goes to his room and withdraws into his digital world. Likewise, at work, we are dominated by the computer screen.

As a response to the tyranny of technology, the concept of getting rid of digital harms, or taking a break from time to time, emerged, which is called “Digital Detox.” The goal of it is to get rid of digital toxins, by temporarily separating and fasting from technology, digital devices, and online activities, and thus we can Reconnecting with ourselves, our loved ones, and the tangible world around us. There are many benefits to digital detoxification, including, for example, first: reducing stress and anxiety. Constant exposure to digital stimuli can lead to increased levels of stress, and by disconnecting from devices and social media, you can give your mind a much-needed rest period, allowing it to... Relax and recharge. Second: Improving sleep, as the light emitted from digital screens can disrupt your body’s natural sleep-wake cycle, making it difficult to fall asleep or stay asleep.

Third: Enhance productivity and focus. When you are not constantly distracted by the temptations of checking your phone, you can focus more effectively on the tasks at hand, which leads to increased productivity and a greater sense of accomplishment. Fourth: Effective personal communication. By leaving your devices and engaging in face-to-face communication, you can deepen your relationships with family and friends, and enhance a greater sense of connection and belonging. Fifth: Increase alertness and presence. Digital detox can help you become more present and aware, allowing you to interact fully with your surroundings and the people around you. This can lead to a greater appreciation for the simple pleasures in life.

In order for this detox to occur effectively, we must specify specific times or days in which we disconnect from devices, such as mealtimes, before bed, or on weekends.
