The Sharjah Lights Festival, which is organized by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority until the 18th of this month, announced a group of workshops and photography tours, with the aim of enriching the experience of photography enthusiasts and opening the opportunity for them to document the essence and message of the festival.
Director of the Media Department at the Authority, Maysoon Hassan Al Hosani, said: “The workshops and tours organized in cooperation with the FotoUAE platform come in response to the passion of photography enthusiasts and to develop their skills during the 2024 festival, in addition to providing a platform for the public and encouraging them to showcase their talents.” .
She added: “This partnership reflects the authority’s commitment to supporting local talent, inspiring young people, and enriching the visual and photographic content of the festival, by supporting the creativity of photographers and participants in workshops and photography tours, which supports our role in enhancing the emirate’s position as a destination for art, culture and heritage in the region, and promoting it tourism through Highlighting the beauty of architecture and its tourist destinations.”
The cooperation between the two sides provided photographers with the opportunity to participate in a photography tour with Ola Al-Lawz, founder and tour organizer of “Photo Photography”, in “Al Dhaid Fort”. The tour allowed participants to wander around and take pictures of the landmarks surrounding the fort, and this experience invited participants to explore the historical fort, And take innovative photos of the light show presented by the Sharjah Lights Festival 2024.
