Students from Ayham Ibrahim Vocational High School in Homs implemented a project to rehabilitate 200 school seats as part of transforming vocational schools into training and production centers.

In a statement to SANA, the Assistant Director for Vocational Education in the Homs Education Directorate, Engineer Maysam Zarifa, said that the project was implemented within the framework of cooperation between the Directorate and the International Committee of the Red Cross, where seats were distributed to a number of schools in the governorate, pointing to the importance of the project in providing students with vocational work skills, And placing them within a real work environment that will help them enter the labor market in the future.

Zarifa pointed to the support provided by the Directorate of Education to vocational education schools, with the aim of raising their level and providing training opportunities that increase the student’s practical abilities and ensure that he engages in real work simultaneously with study.

A number of students stressed the importance of their participation in these projects, as it brings them scientific, practical and material benefits.
