On Friday afternoon, three teenagers aged between 15 and 16 were arrested by a police crew while they were driving at a roundabout in Carcassonne (Aude). According to La Dépêche du Midi, administrative checks carried out by police officers revealed that the vehicle was stolen and that one of the occupants was in possession of the keys to another car reported stolen.
Risky driving
The three teenagers, whom the police had originally stopped for their reckless driving, were arrested and taken into custody for receiving stolen goods. All three admitted to the crime, to varying degrees of involvement, and were later released.
The two youngest children were summoned to appear before the juvenile judge in December. The eldest, who was driving the stolen car, received a criminal response.
